Ugg… I need a Mac/Win Apple/PC Savant!

New LG 34WK650 with 2560×1080 resolution

New Intel NUC i7 gen8 with Win10 Premium Business – (no issues with HDMI & 2560×1080 resolution, but I just read NUC’s have issues with waking monitors from Sleep, which I maybe able to solve as see image at bottom 😬)

– MBP 13-inch, Mid 2012; 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5; 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3; Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB; Mojave – Ver 10.14.4 (18E226), running miniDP??? through FireWire 800 port with HDMI to Monitor. I have a Thunderbolt port open…. I use a Henge Docks (vertical docking station).

I have DL & Installed the official LG ‘On Screen Controller’ and ‘Dual Screen Controller’ drivers/Apps for both MacOS & WinOS respectively.

There is no way/where I can find for res greater then 1960×1080 (on my MBP) and you are stretching my eyes out of their sockets!

… love your form function & solid construction (finally got all your devices working seamlessly together – mostly), but I just don’t understand [your] language, what you are doing 70% of the time, or 90% of your special “hand gestures & swipes & ….”

And you have cost me tens of thousands of $ in lost time, searching for answers, etc., etc., etc., when I added this MBP to complete the “perfect” single OS/iOS ecosphere.

Oh… Finder is the worst piece of trash ever and you have held hostage from me 20 years of travel photos these past 4 years IG/hansworldtravels (I actually want my image names the way I have them with versions too, not sequential IMG##### for every single one!!!! and all my work/excel files – you are somewhere, but don’t ask me where!!!!)

But I don’t want to gripe, I want move on (actually with you too), but your war with MS OS is killing me (like can’t get my Magic Mouse II – which I love, but swipes are kinda hard for larger hands or the less dexterous amongst us)…. to work with Win 10 OS! 😐

So, where/how can I get the driver (or whatever I need to get his working, without taking a crash course of PhD caliber in “Mac OS backend” & “Greek to me” programming – as I could never figure out how to install Bootcamp??? to run a Win OS “mirror”).

MacOS and MBP I just need you to work; not blow up my eyes; and at least once… try to play nicely with others!

PS… not everything is perfect/imperfect in PC OS land either (4 years removed from it)… just, it is just “more manageable” for me and my skills at whatever level they are.

PSS… if anyone knows how to get Safari (where my entire life is after 4 years) to play (nicer) with WinOS and (with or without) Edge – huge props! Nothing seems to be within iCloud (which I installed on WinOS) to do so. I already sorted reversed CNTR & CMD buttons so I can use my Macally Bluetooth keyboard with 3 device switching to go back & forth seamlessly between MBP & NUC.

PSSS…. Mac Notes to Win OS accessibility/sync… that too would be a godsend.

PSSSS… Is it possible to get the “X” on the Browser Tabs on both Safari or Edge on the same side? Seriously, did Steve Jobs just say, “Whatever Bill did, I’m doing it the exact opposite!”, just for spite? And Edge Tabs, you are sooooo freaking small and at the top of the Browser Window – how can I see you or grab the stupid window?! This might be okay if … my Magic Mouse 2 worked to scroll sideways! And scroll vertically too for … errr, everything!

And this is what I don’t want to have to do, but you forced me!

Author’s Note – Maybe I should bolt down my NUC… you are very tempting and a perfect ‘form factor’ for chucking! 🙈
