A short series of long exposure photographs from an intense thunderstorm that passed through Denver, Colorado on June 4th 2014. I usually shoot on the eastern edge of the metropolitan area, where suburbia gives way to endless fields all the way to Kansas. The glow on the right side horizon is from lights at Denver International Airport and I enjoy shooting along a section of electric transmission towers walking across the landscape like an army of alien invaders. I shoot with a Canon 6D and Rokinon 14mm super wide angle lens combination.
